Emby has a feature called ‘favorite’ that allows users to add films or episodes to another place, it’s like a watch later list. However, so far, Infuse only has the ability to retrieve what is in the ‘favorite’ list but is not capable of favoriting or unfavoriting items.

Any plans on adding Jellyfin Favorites? It’s similar to Plex Watchlist (not to be confused with watching). The ability to mark, unmark, and view both movies and shows would be awesome!

Is it possible to add a tv show or a movie to favorite when using emby direct mode?
Cannot find it anywhere, now I need to go into emby and add it from there

Hi, since current Infuse Emby direct mode just support to view the favorites in Home Screen, is there any plan to add the function to mark or unmark a Movie or a TV Show as Favorite under Emby direct mode? Just like mark or unmark as Watched on the video detail screen. It’s really useful for Emby users. Thanks.

Note there won’t necessarily be a time frame available to the public depending on the tag.
There is no function of adding favorite videos in emby.,At present, you can only display the videos collected in emby.,Maybe you should consider adding the function of adding favorite emby videos.,Otherwise, I can only switch to another software to add and delete favorite videos.,It’s too troublesome.
Hi all. I’ve just purchased an AppleTV4K and have just paid for Infuse.
Connected it to my Emby server and all looks good.
One basic thing I’ve noticed…when I search for a show, I can’t add it to my favourites list so to speak. (Eg if in native Emby app, I sear ch for say Reacher tv show, I can click the heart and it is added to my favourites list and I can build up a want to watch list for the future.)
Am I missing something…
And if not…is this planned for the future at all?

This is also a feature that many people urgently need and use very often, and there have been many people who have proposed it before, I don’t know why such a practical and basic function, James does not consider it，I really can’t understand why infuse.
It’s such a basic function. Got to say, I was really, really surprised this isn’t there? It’s not asking for major rewrites. Just the common option.
So currently, to favourite a show, I have to use the native Emby app, watch it on Infuse, and remove from favourites back in Emby!
I do the same as you: collect content from other software and watch it on Infuse. I’m shocked that such a basic feature has not been implemented in a software developed over a decade. Moreover, James seems uninterested in adding this feature, which baffles me regarding the developer’s rationale. @james
Good to see the devs are active then if @james is on their team. Could I ask, as a newbie to all this @james, why such a basic, common sense feature, that all other players have, isn’t included? Not being arsey. Just trying to see a rationale behind the decision and wondering if it would be considered in the future? Happy with the app apart from that, but tbf, not used it enough to give fair ratings. But first impressions are good apart from the lack of the favourite feature! Cheers.

Hello, the ability to easily add movies – but especially TV shows – to favorites is sorely missed. As an Emby user, it’s frustrating not being able to find your shows in a simple “Favorites” tile.

Can you add support for favoriting/unfavoring titles in Emby soon, it’s simple but important to us because I love infuse so much

I am sad that this feature did not appear in the recent update, nor did I plan to see this feature in the plan. This feature that is very frequently used is very important to us.
