It has been on that list before and subsequently removed. I’ll believe it when we see it in a beta!
ATM content of these folders is not displayed by Infuse.
e.g. series_name/season 1/featurettes/file.mkv
Hey guys I’m checking in after 9 years of first installing infuse to see if extras and different versions have been implemented yet. Did we finally get enough “likes” after all these years?

I agree. I’m just posting work-arounds I’ve used until (hopefully) these request get put into the software. Hope you’ve come up with something in the meantime. Blue skies…

I’ve googled a bit but came up with nothing, only very old discussions. Is there still no way to fix this? All my The Lord of the rings-extras is messing up my library, would be nice to have some “Extras” button to access BTS-clips..?

On the other hand I have many extras that I haven’t organized yet, not named correctly, and not in the right location to be indexed.
What is the status of your extras?

I use Infuse with a Plex server, so all my many movie and TV show extras are organized inline according to Plex’s documentation.
Today’s 8.4 update adds supports for displaying extras! 
James, will extras work with streamlink files of movies or tv shows?
Yes, they can be used with any local or streamed file. 
I am not able to get them to show with streamlink files. For example, I have the movie folder with the movie streamlink file inside that folder along with another folder labeled “featurettes”. It is not showing up. It will show up if it is a “strm” file and not a “strmlnk” file, but then the strm file will not play.
I assume having Smart Folders enabled is a requirement?

The Extras support is greatly appreciated, and seems to work quite well, with a couple of minor issues. One of which is this: I have a film with three editions plus an extras file, organised as follows:-
/THX 1138 (1971)
THX 1138 (1971) {edition-Theatrical Reconstruction HD}.srt
THX 1138 (1971) {edition-Original 1971 Cut}.mkv
THX 1138 (1971) {edition-Theatrical Reconstruction HD}.mkv
/extras
Bald The Making of THX 1138 {imdb-tt0426949}.mkv
However, instead of showing up as an ‘extra’ on the main page for the film, the extra feature shows up as a separate film entry on its own in the catalogue, and does not appear at all on the main film’s page.
As far as I can tell, this is the only instance in which this occurs in my catalogue. All the other extras behave as they should. Any thoughts as to what I might be doing wrong?
You may need to create individual folders for these versions in order to use the folder-based extra organization (as this is only designed to work with movies contained in their own unique folders). Or you may consider renaming the extra video to match the original with the extra type appended to the end. This would then be placed in the THX main folder.
