Plex has the ability to recognize extra features like deleted scenes, featurettes, behind the scenes, trailers, and others by using specific directory names under the root directory for the movie. The extra features show up on the movie detail page. This prevents the application from treating it like it is another movie file and applying the wrong metadata.
Is there any plan to implement a way for Infuse for the 4th gen Apple TV to handle extra features?

I actually logged into my Firecore account on the web for the first time in years to ask if was possible, I noticed it on Plex and thought it was a fantastic feature and one Infuse should be able to replicate providing the extras follow a set file naming scheme.

+1, absolutely. It’s one of the biggest things that keeps me from switching away from the native Plex app altogether.
I agree and think extras will eventually get added. I curious what else keeps you from switching.
I’d also really like to see faster refreshing of data from Plex, or, to help with that, background refreshing of that data so I don’t have to manually trigger it. There’s already a feature request for that, and apparently there’s some possible issues with implementing it at the moment, but it would still make the experience far more convenient for me. Faster loading of libraries in general, if it was possible would be nice, too - I have pretty big libraries (4800 movies, 850 TV shows) and it takes around 15 - 30 seconds for them to open, as opposed to about 2 on Plex. Obviously, it isn’t a totally fair comparison, since they’re accessing things differently, but it does make it a bit of a pain to look through my library, although I can just search if I’m looking for something specific.
Those are the ‘major’ things I’d like, although I think I could live with both of those, if extras were available. As for smaller things, it would be nice to have the option to make fanart non-blurry on media pages, but since you can’t see fanart at all on the actual Plex app, I can’t complain too much about that. It would also be cool if they incorporated the feature from the native video player, and thus the Plex app, where, after tapping on the touchpad (on Apple TV, don’t have the iOS version, or an iOS device to run it on) the first time, to bring up the progress bar, you can tap again to change the current time in video/time left in video indicators to current actual time/time when the video will finish playing. It’s a very small thing, but it can be very convenient.
