Could you please implement the ability to hold down a button on the remote and exit to the Apple TV menu from where ever you are in Media Player. It is a pain to have to keep hitting menu to get to the Apple TV. If I could hold menu for a period of time and it exit Media Player that would be ideal.

Yes, this is actually already implemented. :)
While playing a video, hold menu to exit (doing this also bypasses the menu in a DVD file).
Holding menu in any other circumstance (browsing files, settings, etc…) will return you to the main menu.
Interesting… I tried previously to posting this thread… maybe I didn’t hold it long enough.
