Exclude videos from the automatic metadata load function

How can I exclude videos from the automatic metadata load function?
It’s a couple of private tutorial videos I also watch with Infuse. It’s super practical that the progress is stored. Especially for a study course.
Now some videos are interpreted as movies. For example, a video is called “Welcome” and is promptly recognized as the movie “Welcome” and loads the movie cover. I don’t really find that aesthetic.
Is there a possibility to exclude whole folders from the metadata supplementation?
Kind regards,
Christian

Bump.

Also interested.

Is it feasable to rename your files to something like Study Course - Welcome? That won’t stop metadata search but at least it will have less of a chance matching something.

Thanks.
But I have several reasons not to rename it again.
Thus: no way!
There are machines for taking jobs.

The best way to do this will be to place all these items into a single folder.

You can then browse to that folder, long-press on it, and select the ‘Use Local Metadata’ option. This will prevent Infuse from fetching online metadata for the items in this folder.

Thanks

A big thank you from me too!
