Episodes marked as watched in Trakt, not marked as watch in Infuse

Hello, Pro user here, I also have a Pro account on Trakt.

Recently, I had multiple time the whole season of Bleach Season 1 being marked as watched, which triggered a full sync on Trakt.

To fix that, I marked everything as non watched on Infuse, and deleted the watch on Traktv.

Then, I mark all episodes to episode 50 to be marked as Watched in Trakt. But then, nothing gets updated in Infuse.

It’s a bit problematic because I can’t “mark until episode X” on Infuse, and the PRO subscription was marketed as allowing Trakt->Infuse sync, which is not really working ? Is it a bug or some limitation ? What’s the logic ?

As a paid feature, it’s a bit unfortunate if it’s not working as announced

Infuse allows you to manually override what is in trakt so that you can rewatch a show without removing history in trakt. So by marking something as unwatched in infuse it unlinked the unwatched status. If you had just removed the plays in trakt I think it may have worked how you wanted.

To try this hypothesis, I’ve marked again all episodes of the season (400 episodes) as watched in Infuse. They have been marked in Trakt as expected. Now, in Trakt, I’ve removed all plays from Infuse. It did not marked them as Unwatched in Infuse.

So, I once again manually marked them as Unwatched in Infuse, now having nothing watched both in Infuse and Trakt. I’ve marked some episodes as watched in Trakt, they do not become maked as watched in Infuse.

It thus seems marking as watched or unwatch is not brought from Trakt to Infuse.

I’ve tried to disable/reenable the trakt link, and also disconnect/reconnect the account.

Any other potential ideas ?

This is the same show as before? If so I think it has already branched and they won’t be in sync. But if you do mark as watched in infuse, it will mark it trakt still.

It is the same show indeed.

I tried with another show, it seems it sync both watch and unwatch markings.

That’s unfortunate, it means if I want to mark all episode until episode 150 as watched, I need to click on every single episode until 150. I hoped Trakt could at least help me mark all episodes until 150.

Maybe you could temporarily move out the extra episodes from your drive, mark those 150 then add them back?
