I can’t get past this step, it says connect to USB and hold menu play pause for seven seconds, i amdoing that but i still am getting waiting for device to enter DFU mode, the remote works i tested it
Connect the power and USB. Once the device is booted (or booting doesn’t matter) hold menu and down until you see a very rapid blinking let go and then immediately start holding menu and play/pause. If all is successful your device will be detected in DFU mode. Once in DFU mode disconnect the power as restoring with the power cable will cause issues with entering certain states during the recovery process…
yeah sometimes it needs a “jump” by connecting the power cable. I have also found sometimes it won’t recognize the dfu mode and you have to shut down season pass and reopen it to get it to work. here is my demo video how to jailbreak
