Hello, I can see the TV series saved by Emby on the homepage, but I can’t see the saved movies. I’ve confirmed that the saved movies are displayed on the homepage. This issue occurs on several Emby servers. Please re-examine this problem.

@james Yes, I can confirm that ALL of these servers have “Library Mode” turned OFF (meaning they are all running in Direct Mode).
Under this exact configuration:
- “Favorite Series” (TV Shows) can be found and successfully added to the homepage.
- However, “Favorite Movies” is completely missing and cannot be found/added to the homepage anywhere, across multiple Emby servers.
Since this happens consistently on Direct Mode, it looks like a bug in how Infuse handles the movie favorites API from Emby.

@james I also noticed that you are working on the fix: “Fixed empty series page on some Emby/Jellyfin media servers”.
Since both issues are related to how Infuse parses Emby’s data in Direct Mode, I would like to ask: Will this upcoming fix also resolve the issue where “Favorite Movies” cannot be found or displayed on the homepage? Or are they handled by different API logics?

@james Hi James, I wanted to follow up on this. I am still facing this exact issue where Emby favorite movies are completely invisible.
As a loyal user who purchased the Lifetime Pro license (which costs around 700+ RMB / $100+) and actively participates as a beta tester, I must admit the lack of communication and support lag on this core issue is quite disappointing.
This bug directly impacts the daily viewing experience across all my Apple devices (Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, and Mac). Could you please provide an update on whether this has been logged as a known bug, or if it’s being addressed in the upcoming release alongside the “empty series page” fix?

Emby’s collected movies need to be added to the homepage by clicking edit in the top right corner and entering each service’s collection folder.

Can you provide a screenshot of how this list appears on the Emby server compared to how it appears in Infuse? One thing to keep in mind is that if a list is empty it will be hidden on the Infuse home screen until at least one item is added.
Also, are you using multiple users on this server? Can you check to ensure the user you are connecting with in Infuse matches the user you are logged in with on the server?

To answer your questions:
- I am using a shared community Emby server, so I do not have administrator access to the server backend. However, I am using the EXACT same user account on both the official Emby client and Infuse.
- The “Favorite Movies” list is definitely NOT empty. It has multiple items in it on the Emby side, but it is completely invisible/hidden in Infuse.
I have attached the comparison screenshots below to show the issue:
^ This is how my “Favorite Movies” list appears on the official Emby web/app client (using the same account). As you can see, it contains movies and is not empty.
^ This is what I see in Infuse. The movie and TV series favorites are nowhere to be found。
I cannot find the Emby server to add to the home screen, but it appears when accessing the file interface.
Since the account is identical and the list is populated, this seems to be a filtering or API parsing bug in Infuse’s Direct Mode. Please let me know if you need more details.
