It seems that I am unable to change the sort type when it comes to my Emby - Favourite Movies or Emby - Favourite Series.
Infuse gives me the option to change sort type to a bunch of different options, but upon selecting any option the media will be sorted by title regardless (possibly file name instead of title). I can share pics when home.
In the video posted above, the sorting starts with Year; however the media is clearly sorted by Title (or file name). When I click year again, it maintains sorting by title but simply switches from descending to ascending. The sorting works in the Emby app. This is direct mode, latest update ATV4K. I get this. Sorting favourites in Emby direct mode only seems to work on file name and maybe bitrate. None of the other options change the view. I had it on earlier versions of Emby and updated to 4.8.10 today with no change
When changing sort order within “favourites” it does not change from the default.
Example changing to “Run time” or “Release date” has no impact on the listings.
