Embedding Poster and Fanart into Metadata using Subler?

I have photos attached for each, but I can’t get them to display properly.

Is there a fix for this? I’d rather embed it, so my folders aren’t massive with JPGs and PNGs.

Thank you!

Keep in mind that when you turn on embedded metatdata it will slow down Infuse scans since it has to dig through each file looking for embedded metadata.

If you’re having problems displaying artwork you can post a screen cap of the directory you have your video and artwork in and we can see if we can help you figure out what’s going on.

Hi!

Thank you for the reply.

I’m able to put the photos in the directory and they display just fine.

I’d like to be able to upload the poster and the fanart image into the metadata, using Subler. Then, delete the photos from the directory. In essence, have Infuse pull the two artwork photos directly from within the file’s metadata, so there are less files in my folders.

Thank you!

Sorry I misunderstood what you said.

I don’t use embedded metadata so I can’t be of much help for how to embed graphics.

Just don’t forget, turning on embedded metadata really slows things down so you may want to weigh the speed trade off vs having a few additional files in the directory.

If you prefer to use embedded images over images fetched from TMDB you can enable the ‘Prefer Embedded Artwork’ option found in Infuse > Settings > General.

As already mentioned, this may slow down the scanning process a bit.

Hi James!

I have that enabled.

It does not differentiate between posters and fanart embedded photos.
