In case this isn’t just me…Recently I had to use my network drive (WD Passport) for another purpose. When it came time to reconnect it, I formatted it as FAT using my MAC. Video files of all types played fine, but the DVD folders would break out in to the component parts, .IFO, .VOB etc, and would not play as they used to. Before I repurposed it, the drive had been formatted on a PC. I disconnected the drive, formatted on a PC as NTSF and all is good again. So, if your DVD folders are not playing as they should, and you formatted on a MAC, try formatting on a PC as NTSF.
