Hello, I know versions of this have been asked before but… I have a share set up on mac computer to watch on apple tv. Infuse is amazing (I love it). However, For some movies and some TV shows, infuse is displaying duplicate listings. I can’t figure out any rhyme or reason to which ones show more than one instance. I have infuse pro, I only have one share, and am not running plex or any server… several TV shows show two of each episode so if I watch, it plays each episode twice before moving to next episode… Id love to figure this out!

Can you share a screenshot of the details page in infuse for one set of each of the duplicates? And a screenshot from the library settings page?
Here are screenshots of infuse both on my computer and on my apple tv… and also screenshots of the library settings page on my computer and on apple tv… the issue im referring to seems only to be taking place on the apple tv.

Yes that’s expected for progress to be the same position. Hmm I’m not seeing anything obvious for why there are duplicates.
How are you navigating to the show? Is it from the Up Next list? What happens if you go to TV shows in library and select it that way?
Maybe go to your hard drive under system > users > your user > movies > Infuse and see if maybe you have some files there.
If I navigate to “all files”, then to the show, the duplicates are NOT there… however, If I navigate using “tv shows”, It shows duplicates of every episode… ??? And, I looked under system-users-“me”-movies-infuse, and nothing there…
Maybe try doing a copy of one of the file names showing duplicates in infuse and in the MacOS do a spotlight search (magnifying glass in upper right hand corner of the desktop) then paste there and see if it finds only one or if it finds two.
Hello, I did a spotlight search and only one of each episode comes up…
That is strange. Maybe as a test, you could copy one of the files that show duplicates off to a flash drive, remove the flash drive, and then delete the one on the Mac. Then see if it still shows in Infuse after a refresh. If it still shows try playing it and see if it plays. If it does play then you’ve got a copy somewhere hidden.
I copied an episode off of the computer, then went to apple tv…apple tv still showed two of the episode but if I play either one, an error comes up…(as would be expected…then I refreshed (or whatever you call the arrow next to settings, now neither version of that episode appears, but all other episodes still have duplicates. Then I put the episode back where I took it from and refreshed, and two of the episodes came back…???
I have the exact same problem, 118 movies, 826 episodes on iphone, 194 movies, 3252 episodes on apple tv.
Hello, I posted earlier about this, but still have not found any solution. I have infuse pro on apple tv… I have a share from my mac computer… I am not running plex or any server…I only have ONE copy of each file on my computer. Infuse is showing multiple instances of each episode of every tv show I have. It is only TV episodes. They do not show up as duplicates if I run infuse on my computer. They also do not show up as duplicates if I go to all files on the apple tv and navigate to the correct folder. HOWEVER, if I go to “tv shows” and go to a specific show, multiple versions of each episode show up… before it was two for each episode. Then I deleted infuse and reinstalled it. Then I got rid of the share and created a new one… now there are THREE instances of each episode. At the bottom of the details page, each duplicate is identical. Again, I have spotlight searched my whole computer, and there is only one of each episode… I am tatally stumped!
I’ve got the same problem on ATV. I’m using WebDAV & RD and only have one folder selected in advance settings. In that folder there is only one of each movie / episode. Infuse has synced it multiple times but the problem still persists. It started with 2 of each item and it has grown to 4 of each. Only one of the 4 copies work when selecting to play so it’s a bit of roulette. However, all the settings are the same on my iPhone and it works flawlessly with only one copy showing.
Same problem here, only one copy in Real-Debrid, but random duplicates of movies and episodes. I believe it’s since the newest version, but I can’t be sure.

But since this version, multiple files of mine have been duplicated (once, twice… eight times or more for some of them). I believe it’s due to this fix: *Fixed sync of duplicate cloud shares.
Nothing has changed for me since then, so I don’t know where it’s coming from
