Duplicate items in “Up Next / watching bar” when using Emby server

Hi guys,

I am experiencing an issue with Infuse Pro 8.3.4 on Apple TV when using an Emby server as a share.

When I am watching any movie or episode from Emby, the same item appears duplicated in the “Up Next / watching” section on the main screen. Both entries point to the same content and same playback position.

No idea what’s happening, anyone know what’s happening?

Details:

  • This issue happens only with the Emby server

  • Local storage (USB HDD shared to Infuse) works correctly, no duplicates

  • Emby is added only once in Settings > Shares

  • There are no SMB / WebDAV / DLNA duplicate paths

  • Emby libraries are not duplicated

  • Removing and re-adding the Emby share does not solve it

  • Apple TV reboot does not solve it

  • Sync playback status ON or OFF does not change the behavior

Just as an experiment in the Infuse settings for “Up Next List” try setting it to “Watching Only” and see if you then only have one listing. Just wondering if it could be showing the same show as a recently added and a watching both.

Nothing, I’ve just noticed that some files are indeed duplicated: one version in 1080p and another in 4K. Is there any way to hide the duplicates? or just chose one version to show?
