DTS On Plays Video Fine, DTS Off = Buffering

can someone explain why this is happening? DTS Passthrough played video great, recently my audio system Exploded (yep Exploded… Please send condolences & care packages)
anyway, I’ve downgraded back to Default TV speaks (oh the horror of these tiny speakers built into the the tv) So playing Video which has DTS Audio is suddenly making the video Buffer… Is this because the hardware (apple tv 4) cant handle it or is there something more to it? I read somewhere that Infuse does not transcode… So why the buffering?

Is there plans to disable DTS audio even if you watch a video with DTS built in?

If you have a chance to send in a report from your device (preferably right after the issue occurs) we’d be happy to look into this.

Here you go: VNHD4

just occurred with a 5.1 surround sound tv show on a 2.0 sound tv.
