Downmix to 2.0 on iOS

Hello there

I use Infuse Pro on my iPhone 15 Pro connected with a HDMI cable and a dongle at the hotel. I don’t have access to the TV settings at the hotel.

As a result when I stream something in 5.1 I can’t hear voices. I know I can encode the file in stereo but I was wondering if there was a setting available on iOS to force stereo. I have it on my Apple TV.

Is this an Infuse setting or iOS setting?

You can disable the ‘5.1 over HDMI’ option found in Infuse > Settings > Audio.

With this off, Infuse would send 2.0 stereo over HDMI.

Thanks, James. I did it but I had the same issue. I’ll travel again tomorrow abroad. I’ll try one more time.
