I’m just an intusiast and by no means an expert. A lot have been written about DV profiles and Infuse in these forums, but can’t seem to find anything on this. Also, I feel like someone should make some sort of table to get an overview of supported formats and profiles 
I have an issue with a profile 8 movie.
Infuse doesn’t mark this as DV (and TV doesn’t say DV when playing)
Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 8.0, dvhe.08.06, BL+RPU, no metadata compression / SMPTE ST 2086, Version HDR10, HDR10 compatible
but marks this as a DV movie (and TV says DV when playing):
Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 8.6, dvhe.08.06, BL+RPU, no metadata compression, Blu-ray compatible / SMPTE ST 2086, Version HDR10, HDR10 compatible
I see the small differences, but just thought as they both had ‘dvhe.08.06’ in there, chances were they would both work.
Anyone knows why not? Or would it require a full Mediainfo comparison?
