Dolby Surround stopped working after tvos 26.4

After updating tvos to 26.4 from .3 my Denon X6800H cannot upmix Infuse videos with truehd and dtsbhd ma to Dolby Surround. Only Multi In is displayed and Atmos speakers don’t play any sound (since upmixer is off). Only change was tvos update. I replugged and synced apple tv to receiver and reset the connection. Cycling upmixer modes only gives multin or stereo downmix. Dolby surround and dts upmixers arent available. Only getting the pmc 5.1 passed by infuse.

Anybody have this problem or ideas what might have caused it?

Disregard / solved.

Had to set ‘Continuous Audio Connection’ to ‘Off’ on the apple tv and everything works now.

Thanks for sharing your solution. This is a new feature in tvOS 26.4 so there may be others who run into the same thing.
