Does Plex transcode when linked with Infuse (Apple TV)?

I have linked Infuse with Plex in Apple TV. Does the Plex server transcode or simply forward the raw video data to Infuse?

I see that there is a roadmap of controlling level of Plex transcode in Infuse. But I don’t see any info regarding how this is done at the moment (transcode or not).

Currently Plex does no transcodeing. Infuse plays the raw file.

Not when playing the video via inFuse.

Support for Plex transcoding is something that has been discussed for a future inFuse release.
