Does Infuse support DV/HDR playback on mini's/studios with external displays yet?

I purchased Infuse a little over a year ago thinking it could playback HDR/DV video correctly. No matter what I did, it never worked. After a few forum posts it was determined Infuse can only do this on Mac Books with the built in display. Has that changed yet?

Thank you

I’m not sure how I would even check if my 16” MacBook Pro M2 Max is in HDR or DV mode?

This page may have your answer.

Just trying to get Infuse to play on the built-in display on my M2 MacBook Pro Max 16" and it’s on the list of “These Mac models support HDR video on their built-in display (if applicable) and external HDR10-compatible displays.” but I can’t get Infuse to play HDR content in HDR on the built-in display (tried 3 different movies that were only HDR10 [weren’t HDR+ and also weren’t DV]).

Or IF it is playing HDR content, it’s not giving me any feedback to indicate that. But when you’re playing a movie, it doesn’t even tell you which movie you’re watching.

In your system settings under display, what do you have set for “Preset”?

Are you plugged into the charger when you’re trying to watch?
