Do I need to keep Trakt signed in for family sharing?

Alternative option for Family Sharing via Trakt

  1. Family member(s) have been added to Family Sharing (not required if accounts are in different App Store regions)
  2. Log in to Trakt on the purchaser’s device, and then the same Trakt account on other devices

My mom’s Apple ID account is in a different App Store Region. I’m wondering if I can just log in with my Trakt account for her and unlock the Pro then logging back out so our watch history don’t mix. Or does it have to be always signed in?

If this works, then I don’t have to move her Apple ID region or log in through my Apple ID, which would complicate app update.

Yes, you would need to stay logged into Trakt on all devices in order to use it for family sharing.
