If a user’s Infuse library is composed of multiple sources, like SMB, Google Drive, and Direct URLs for example, it could be useful to distinguish the content that is unavailable.
Imagine when a user is in their home network, they may have SMB accessible, in addition to their Google Drive and Direct URL sources. When they leave home, SMB will not be available, but the other two remain available.
It could be useful to highlight or distinguish the content that is momentarily unavailable to stream, such as all the content that is no longer available over SMB. The distinction could be a red badge like “unavailable,” or every poster could have it, or the content could just disappear.
I know of at least two applications that do something like this. Plex is one, where it will mark the content as unavailable (at least they used to, but it’s been years since I used it). Apple TV’s Computers app is the other, where the content will just not appear if the source is offline.
