This post is only tagged as whishlist, not as planned unfortunately. It looks bleak…
This week I tested out a new app call VidHub which UI and feature very similar to Infuse.
They have a very nice way to implemented the PIP feature which not only have Sub integrated but also full playback control ( skip; backward) even on touch pad scroll ( which I hope Infuse can bring to the macOS Version as it is available now only for iOS & iPadOS)
Hope dev team will make it happen soon.
Emby app on iOS can display subtitles during PiP mode and perfectly preserves ASS styling.
Additionally, it supports fast-forwarding and rewinding without any lag.

The longevity of this issue leads me to conclude that James himself does not utilize this software.
only doesn’t use pip mode yet.
To be fair this is much newer than many other requests and there are not a ton of people requesting it.
It would be really great if it could be implemented, I feel like it’s the only thing missing to Infuse for me

Is there a way to display subtitles (SRT or ASS) in PiP windows?
It seems that the system interface can only transmit the original video and audio stream.
I understand.
Another player, Senplayer, can display SRT subtitles in PiP mode.
Therefore, I am curious whether Infuse would add this feature.
這個是外掛字幕嗎?感覺看著有點像是內嵌字幕
