Hi
I suddenly started seeing my atv 2 with firecore in a reboot loop.
Could this be related to disk usage on the device ?
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/disk0s1s1 569M 507M 57M 90% /
devfs 26K 26K 0 100% /dev
/dev/disk0s1s2 6.9G 6.9G 0 100% /private/var
/dev and /private/var are at 100%
is there any safe way to remove content here ?
looking for any help.
thanks
FYI i removed all files under these directories - and this has appeared to fix the problem
/private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/AppleTV/Video/LocalAndRental
/private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/AppleTV/Video/Other

In the future, there is a dedicated option to empty the Apple TV caches in the Maintenance > Settings menu.
Hi James good to hear you are still maintaining atv flash black
What would I need to do to upgrade my atv firecore ?
I’m running 4.4.4 and the fire core version from early 2013 I think
Cheers

Running the current version of Seas0nPass will update your Apple TV to 5.3. You can then re-run the aTV Flash (black) installer.
Alternatively, you can also use Seas0nPass to install 6.2.1 (select by right-clicking the Create IPSW button) but this is tethered, which isn’t very user friendly.
