Direct Mode w/Plex - how to get "unwatched TV" views on home screen

In Library mode, it’s possible to get this easily. My issue is library mode is too slow for my library, and so Direct Mode fixes that. The issue that seems to be introduced is that it removes the ability to have “unwatched TV” and “unwatched Movies” as tile rows on the home screen. I tried creating these as collections, smart collections, and smart playlists on Plex, all to no avail.

Is “recently added” really the only possible source for home screen rows in Direct Mode with Plex?

Figured it out, it’s an utter pain. You can only achieve this if you are the one managing the Plex server.

1. In Plex, use an Advanced filter to get the view you want, then save it as a Smart Collection
2. Then go to Settings > Manage > Libraries
3. For each Library where you created a smart collection, go to Manage Recommendations, and add it to Home
4. It will then be visible to InFuse as a row.
