Direct Integration with 189 Cloud Drive

Hello Infuse Developers,

I am a loyal user from China, holding active subscriptions for both 189 Cloud (天翼云盘) and an annual Infuse Pro plan.

Previously, I, like many others, relied on a third-party tool called Alist to mount my China Telecom Cloud Drive and then used the WebDAV protocol to allow Infuse to access my media content. However, this method is no longer secure or reliable. Alist has reportedly been sold to an unknown third-party company with a history of privacy and data security issues, making users’ personal information vulnerable.

China Telecom Cloud Drive has a very large user base in China. A significant number of us would greatly appreciate and benefit from the ability to connect Infuse directly to our cloud storage for seamless video playback.

It is also worth noting that a competing application, Netease Popcorn (网易爆米花), has already successfully implemented direct integration with China Telecom Cloud Drive. Their user base is growing rapidly, and they are continuously improving their app’s playback experience and cross-platform support.

To retain your loyal user base in this competitive market, I strongly urge the Infuse team to prioritize the development of direct connection support for 189 Cloud.

For your convenience, here is the official API documentation for 189 Cloud:
