Digital Ocean SSD server + Infuse config?

Hello,

I’m pretty new to Infuse world and I would like to have some recommended hardware tips. Basically, I bought the new Apple TV and I plan to mainly use the future Infuse tvOS app with it. I don’t want to link it with my home computer because I have a slow bandwitch (ADSL), downloading a 2GB movie is like hell…
Instead, I want to buy a Digital Ocean SSD server to use it as a streambox (deluge torrent app + FTP).

Which size plan do you think is the best to watch 1080p Blu-ray movie seamlessly?
I hesitate between:
1st = 512 MB / 1 CPU, 20GB SSD disk, 1000 GB transfer
or
2nd = 1GB / 1 CPU, 30 GB SSD disk, 2 TB transfer

I’m really concerned about the “slow” CPU RAM. I’m afraid it will totally be impossible to watch heavy movie (~10GB MKV)

Does the upgrade is worth the cost? I can’t really imagine what is needed… Any tips welcome :slight_smile:
Thanks!

Honestly, I’m (sort of) in the same boat, but… Your internet speed will not have any impact on network file transfer speeds. The router you use could make the difference though. If your equipment is old(er), be sure both your router and your computer at least can broadcast and read wireless N. If you have to upgrade, consider spending a bit more to get wireless AC which is noticeably faster.

I have decent ADSL speed but downloading ~10GB movie require fiber optic connection. I have not! That’s why I think the “server” option is the best, despite a few concerns about CPU
