Developing AppleTV Plugins

Hi, I’m looking for any information related to creating a plugin (app) for the AppleTV. I found this on StackOverflow, but it’s pretty old:

To develops ‘apps’ for Apple TV2, you will need to build them in a frappliance. It can be done with a Xcode template. I have an idea for an app that I’d really like to explore. Any guides or code on getting a basic hello world app to run in the new 5.0 software would be greatly appreciated!

jonez, most frappliances still work

just use the HelloWorld from Michael Gil. Or my version http://imho.nu/Home/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/helloWorld.frappliance.tar.gz

Did you test the Draw Example on my page : http://imho.nu/Home/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/DrawExample.frappliance.zip

Just place it in the Applications/AppleTV.app/Appliances folder and restart.

I’m not sure if the source is still available at Brandon Hollands site. But I can share it if you like.
