I have three rooms with TV’s, and each room has an Apple TV. Under Apple’s method, my computer must be “on” with iTunes running in order to stream any of my movies or TV shows to an Apple TV device in any of my three rooms. For me, it’s a hassle to leave the computer on all the time just to stream movies and TV shows.
My question is this: Does aTV Flash enable an NAS drive on my home network which will hold all my movies and tv shows, the ability to stream to any of the three Apple TV’s in my house WITHOUT requiring my computer to be “on” and iTunes running?
That’s the $64,000 question. I could not really find this information in the forums, but I am not that technically minded.

Well… I assume you are talking about Apple TV2(Black), this part of forum is for Apple TV 1.
It will read from NAS , but it has to be not on the latest version of firmware to jailbreak it at the moment.

If you were talking about Apple TV1(silver) , then answer is 100% yes ,it will do ,without any issues, out of the box.
If you were talking about NEW Apple TV3, answer is NO. Not supported yet.
Was it an answer for $64K ?
