Deleting Media Player data

The nas enclosure I was using with my movies stopped working and I want to start over and delete all Media Player downloaded data. How do I do that?

I want to add my movies again using another nas enclosure, i will use the same folders, but the path will be different, that’s why I want to clear all media player files from the atv and start from scratch.

Will deleting the share and favorites do the trick?

If you’re setting up a new share, Media Player will treat each file on the share as a unique file so the previously downloaded metadata shouldn’t be an issue.

However, if you prefer to clear out the database and start fresh you can clear the current database through the Media --> Settings --> Reset menu.

I was hoping this would clear Favorites, but no luck. 

 

Any help would be appreciated.
