Please don’t judge, I’m new to this.
I have some old DVDs as Remuxes at 576i. MediaInfo shows the tags properly and Infuse applies deinterlacing on them when enabled on a Mac. However, when I play the same files on an Apple TV, the deinterlacing is not applied - no matter what option I choose for deinterlacing.
When browsing my WebDAV, the file in question shows as 576p at 50fps, which is incorrect: the file is in fact 576i at 25fps. However, the same happens on the Mac, but the deinterlacing works there so I’m not sure this matters.
Can anybody explain if I’m doing something wrong and if this is or is not supposed to work?

Later edit: just saw another thread opened by someone else 4 days ago, stating that the deinterlacing is broken for them since v8.4 (which could be the same issue for me, but I never watched interlaced content prior to this update). I hope it’s a temporary issue.
