I have been playing around with home automation using HomeKit. I also have Homebridge and just recently installed the Apple TV enhanced plugin.
I am now able to use Siri voice commands to launch apps on the Apple TV, set volume, lighting, etc. For example, I can say “Siri, Movie Time” and it will launch Infuse, dim main lights, turn on TV back lights, turn on receiver, set desired volume, etc. This works great.
Going one step further it would be nice to launch Infuse and have it open a specific favorites folder . That way I could say “Siri, Movie Time” or “Siri, TV Time” and it would take me to that specific folder.
Are there any plans to implement this?
