In general, I really like this software and it works well.
The big downside for me is that I still don’t see a way to have custom categories. I have the standard TV, Movies and Other folders but I also want a “Previews” folder to put in movie previews that I have. I would also like to have a “Personal” folder for my own recordings.
Is there a way to do that? If not, it needs to be a priority!

Just create the folders you want on your server and place the corresponding videos in each and you can add them as favorites in the shares settings.

Thanks. Is it possible for custom data to override other metadata (e.g. by name it the same as the video)? Or should I expect to need to manually set it for each item?
To answer my own question: yes.
The metadata tutorial mentions image/metadata files that can go with a video. I tested it out and they replaced the default/downloaded data.
