I’d like to dismount the usb drive, and mount it from my laptop to move movies into the external drive for playback to expedite the process and store them on my media drives. I understand how to dismount the harddrive, but is it as simple as a drag and drop once I’ve connected to my laptop - just find the NitoTv folder structure and drop the file in place?
If your using the drive as secondary storage (non-iTunes files) then yes, you can just drag your files onto the drive. However, if you wish to transfer iTunes files to the drive they will need to be synced via iTunes.
