Convert PGS subtitles to text so their format can be customized

This is the epitome of a “quality of life” suggestion since 99 times out of 100 times there SRT subtitles are available on OpenSubtitles (so this is only useful for that 1%), but Subler (GitHub - juice/subler: mp4 muxer and editor, to add tx3g subtitles, video, audio and chapters tracks compatible with quicktime in mp4) has this feature on macOS and is open source to use as a reference if you ever get bored.

after testing on Apple TV 4K (1st and 2nd gen) - the silicon is pretty fast, “generating OCRed subtitles from PGS” takes at about 5 - 10 mins per movie so the output of the library for a single line in said movie is like 10x faster than real time meaning the OCR conversion would “look instant” to a user who wants to “customize their [insert non-srt format here] subtitles” but … without AV1 hardware decoding idk, i should test that

but still, for me, well, i can write a script to automate this but random users who can’t do that, this OCR feature would def help them
