Content with DV and HDR10+ metadata played as HDR10

I have a few movies/TV series episodes that got DV and HDR10+ and Infuse on my ATV 4k 3rd gen 2022 plays them as simple HDR10 on my Samsung TV while the Plex TV internal app plays them correctly in HDR10+. Is there anything I can do to help you guys fix this problem?

Infuse is likely defaulting to DV, which if your Samsung does not support, will cause Infuse to fall back to standard HDR10.

If you disable DV, it might grab the HDR10+ instead?

Do you mean I should pull the DV metadata off the file?

You can perhaps try going to settings in Infuse.
There should be a setting for Dolby Vision.
See if it makes a difference if you turn it to “OFF”

No difference, contents still get played in HDR10 and not in HDR10+. Thanks for your suggestion though.
By the way, it looks like yet another Apple TV issue as Samsung Apple TV+ app plays content in HDR10+ while the same app on Apple TV 4K 3rd gen does not.
