Connecting to my Apple TV+ movies I purchased from Apple

I am trying to get my Apple movies that I purchased from Apple on infuse. Is that possible? Thank you for any help.

Purchased content isn’t playable outside of Apple’s apps at this time, but the upcoming 8.1.4 version will allow you to to link these to Infuse for browsing, and then open the Apple TV+ app directly to begin playback.

Oh wow! That’s the first time I hear about it. It sounds like an amazing feature!

Will it work even when you’re using Direct Mode with a Plex server? What will happen when you own a copy of the same movie on both the Plex server and on Apple TV+ ?

Having a “master” list in Infuse of what you own is such a great idea. Can’t wait!

Unfortunately, Plex wouldn’t recognize these files nor make them available to Infuse - but if you add a secondary connection (via SMB, NFS, FTP, WebDAV, or cloud service) then this would allow you to see these items in the Infuse library.

James,will you be using the same STRMLNK format as Channels to achieve this or something else,and will it include TV shows or just movies?

Yes, if you already have these files created they can be used in Infuse.
