Confused about TV Collections…new features advertise it, but it’s nowhere to be found?

I’m confused. The 7.4 release of Infuse markets collections for TV shows. There’s even screenshots where movies and TV shows are in the same collection. Yet, this feature is invisible in 7.4.10 on Apple TV and iPhone. How can I add a TV show to a collection? I only have the option to add it to a playlist and the playlist ends up having every episode of the TV show on there. Aka, hundreds of entries for one show. I just want a show to display one time.

On the ATV if you long press on the series poster you’ll get the option to add the series to a collection. If you long press on a season poster you’ll get the option to add the series to a collection. If you go to the pre-playback screen for an episode and click on

You’ll get the option to add the series to a collection.

Don’t have those options appear. Here’s some screenshots

And my version

And my collections are turned on.

Here’s what I get when I long press on the series poster in my favorite.

What are you long pressing on in the seal team pic?

How are you connected to your movies? Smb/nfs/plex/etc?

The series poster. Tried it on the main page and in TV Shows

I’m connected to Plex for my Infuse media

Okay I think that’s the answer. You will probably need to use plex to manage your metadata including collections.

I do that. Everything works fine for movies. TV shows, those collections don’t appear in Infuse.

Currently, only movie collections for Plex are supported.
