Change TMDB Collection Artwork

Hello together, is it possible to change the collection cover? When I go to change artwork, it does not work. With the films it works, only with sets it is without function. I have already tried the following: Movieset.jpg, Movieset-poster.jpg, Movieset-folder.jpg Set.jpg, Collection.jpg, poster.jpg, folder.jpg, … I also made sure that In each folder of the set the covers are the same.

Is it possible to change the artwork for a Collection? I have looked everywhere on this forum and can’t find the answer.

TMBd has several poster options for the collection artwork I want to change (Jean De Florette and Manon Des Sources), but the default is not the one I’d like to use. I have tried long pressing on the collection to refresh, but it doesn’t cycle to any of the other options. Am I stuck with the default? Thanks.

Unfortunately, this is not available at this time but may be added in a future update.

Moving to suggestions for now.

OK, thanks for the reply. Loving Infuse, fyi.

Any updates on the addition of this feature?

Hopefully it is possible soon, because the Suggestion „Custom Collections“ are tagged to „pending“ now. What means that the implementation should be imminent :+1:

Being able to add custom collections is nice, but it’s slightly limited by the lack of ability to choose artwork for the collection. It would be great to be able to choose artwork for any collection.

1 year later … I think @james maybe uses imperial units of “imminents”.

Hi James
Is there a Timeframe when this get implemented? Because the Auto-Title-Poster is looking really ugly currently

Here is another Suggestion Threat, for the same. But it’s already marked as „planned“:+1:

I’d guess it’s not the same. Adding custom artwork for TMDB collections and adding custom artwork for collections you create yourself could be very different in regards to programming the features. Probably why James has left these as two different suggestions for now.

It’d probably be best not to derail this one by referencing people to the other as “the same”.

I’d also love to see the ability to change collection art, notably on Custom Collections since those are just a tiling of art now.

Would love this feature for both collections and TMDB collections!

Hi all,

A suggestion about customization options…have the opportunity to choose his poster collection, because sometimes the one that is displayed is not the best choice.

kodi allows it and zidoo with their new HT 2.0 (they use themoviedb for their scrap) does it too, and Zappiti, etc…

A screenshot of Zidoo HT 2.0 interface to choose his poster collection

And here is an example of why it is very useful to be able to choose our poster collection

Infuse PRO chosen and displays this poster for the collection ‘’ Le gendarme a St Tropez ‘’, and it is not the best choice …Zidoo HT 2.0 makes the same choice, but we can change it (see below) :

It would be possible to implement this option or not ?

Thanks in advance

Whilst we currently don’t have the ability to assign custom collection posters (as suggested elsewhere), would it be possible to give an option to browse the ones available on TMDB via the UI.

Currently we are stuck with the first available one and I just feel this would take collections in Infuse to the next level.

Thanks for considering.

Hi @Hitsville ,

as you can see in the upcoming features (see here) customizable collections will be available with the next updates in the next few days/weeks. I hope we will have better possibilites then.

The only answer I can find is from 2018 when it wasn’t possible. Is there still no way to override the artwork for a TMDB collection?

I moved your post to that thread that is in the suggestions area. It may have started in 18 but it’s been added to and is an active suggestion.

As @strwht said above, since there is now a way to create collections maybe this will gain some traction.
