It seems that Infuse isn’t properly showing Cast and Crew when a season changes and a new star joins the cast.
As an example, Ron Livingston (from Office Space) joined Boardwalk Empire as a regular in Season 4 (included in opening credits). However, the Cast and Crew list for Season 4 doesn’t show him at all.
However, if you search for his name, it does list Boardwalk Empire, but there’s no way to see what specific episodes/seasons he is in.
Yes it’s a previously reported bug that hasn’t been fixed for quite some time. From what I tell infuse just gets the list of actors for the last season instead of the current season.
Yeah, this seems to be a big miss and I wouldn’t think that hard to fix. What they need to do is refresh the cast and crew list as you move from one season to another. Even better would be to have it refresh on episode change (and include guest stars as I indicated in another post).
The data is out there, it just needs to be presented.
