i get an error in itunes saying the appletv cannot be restored at this time beacuse the appletv software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable. can someone help me? Thanks :)

I’m getting the same, a restore back to 4.1 worked fine, but it’s not updating to 4.3.1.
Same issue. I can’t restore from Cydia’s servers, or even do a clean (non-jailbroken) restore from Apple’s. Jack, can you share how you downgraded to 4.1? I’ve my blobs saved in TinyUmbrella, but I’ve never actually had to restore to a previous version before.
