I can stream and download from my Plex server normally through Infuse on iPad (A16).
However files I download from different movies or TV series can’t be played and display error “Failed to open input stream in demuxing stream”. Disabling iCloud sync didn’t help.

It looks like there are quite a few network errors in your logs. This may be related to an issue with the network itself or possibly that Infuse doesn’t have access to the local network.
Theoretically, if Infuse wasn’t able to actually complete the download the file you have on your device may be incomplete.
You may try installing iOS 18.4 and Infuse 8.1.3, and also check to ensure Infuse has access to the local network in iOS Settings.

I’ve updated to 18.4 and Infuse 8.1.3 but the issue persist. I found a workaround but let me know if it’s an intended behavior. I sent another diagnostics report under APXQQ.

Expected behavior:
After downloading an episode from Plex, disabling network and tapping play the downloaded file should start playing immediately. There are also no duplicates in Continue watching section.
Actual behavior:
After downloading an episode from Plex, disabling network and tapping play the downloaded file you get an error “Failed to open input stream in demuxing stream” which applies app is not switching to a locally downloaded file after it lost connection to my Plex server. Going to Files and tapping Play on the downloaded file plays that file immediately. Returning to Home screen you can see the same episode twice in Continue watching section.
