Can't play 3D film

I have made a test subscription to check if I can use Infuse for my movie collection. I find it a very good application with strong support for different codes.
The only problem I have is with 3D movies. They start playing but the 3D option on my television is disabled and I can’t switch to 3D mode. I can play the same 3D movie without any problem using DLNA.
I check that Infuse has a 3D support. Can you give me a hint want I am doing wrong.

Setting of Apple TV must be 1080p, not more!!!

Thank you. I have changed the format to 1080p and I can watch 3d movies.

Just some comments for the developers of Infuse.

  1. I don’t now if it is possible but it will great if the app changes the format automatically to 1080p for 3d movies.
  2. I think that the 3d subtitle a little bit out of focus.
  3. Please add a section in Support about watching 3d movies using Infuse. At least I didn’t find such information.
  1. is not possible cause it’s a setting of Apple TV!

Thanks for the suggestions.

Unfortunately as Movieman mentioned, apps like Infuse can only adjust the frame rate (24Hz, 60Hz, etc…) and dynamic range (SDR/HDR) aspects of the Apple TV. The resolution will always remain on the setting you have selected.

Thanks.

I just want to confirm that 3D subtitles are shown fine.
