Can't FTP when using external HD

I had no problems using cyberduck or filezilla to do an FTP to my Apple TV until i changed the ATV settings to recognise my external HD as the primary storage.

I can access the ATV still no problem but can’t find the HD.

I go into movies, etc.
Have searched through every possible folder and can not find my HD.

Any suggestions?

I must add, when i first got ATV Flash a year ago, it was plagued with problems of resetting and slow operation.
Now it is fantastic! Keep up the good work guys!

When using the external drive as primary storage the external drive will appear inside the Movies folder as ‘External Media’. Files placed here will be stored on the external drive.
