Cannot Download New Apple Updates

I am new to FireCore. Excuse the newbie question.

I installed FireCore my 2nd Gen ATV and have been using it for a bit, but when I tried to update the device via the apple firmware update it would not update.  Does FireCore install the new apple firmware updates? How do you go about updating the ATV to the newest Apple firmware?

How do you go about updating to the new FireCore 2.1? Does it update via the maintenance updates?

I’m having a problem also error:

E:Type ‘libcurl.4.dylib’ is not known on line 1 in source list/etc/apt/sources.list.d/nito.list

E:The list of sources could not be read.

I’m running ATV2 on ios4.4.4 with aTV Flash 2.0.2
