Cannot access NAS folders


Just installed Infuse and trying to set it up to fetch movies from a WD NAS device. there’s one shared folder on the NAS and underneath that I have movies and audio files etc. Infuse discovers my device and I can see the top folder (“Public”) but I receive an error message when I try to browse for folders under the Public folder. The folder is simply shared with anyone. No users are defined on the NAS device (doesn’t seem to be supported) so very little I can do…

I can access files via my Plex server and that works fine.

Help is appreciated.


I managed to get it to work by using the admin user (mail address) and password that I use to access the web interface as well. I had to leave the Workgroup field blank before it started working.
