save your shsh with ifath
if you have mac os you can try pwnagetool to create custom ipsw
i dont find the tutorial but in short way you create

ipsw with your shsh
-
you copy the two big files from the custom ipsw and overwrite to your shsh ipsw
-
DFU your atv and restore it with itunes
the essential is you need the custom /sp files i have only windows system seasonpass and snowbreeze dont support the old ios version. I have not the option with the mac tools so im sure that would work if you get the correct sp files
im stuck @ and i dont have a mac so i can not create the files

I’ve tried this countless times on Mac and PC and it just doesn’t work…
I have 5 ATV2s with saved blobs for 4.1 and 4.1.1 and cannot jailbreak them by any method.
If we are talking 4.1.1 (iOS 4.2.1 - 8C154), I was able to successfully jailbreak a unit a couple of weeks ago. I used the ifaith (version 1.4.2), seas0npass and total commander method.
Oh, 4.2.1 yes, that’s possible if long-winded.
Trouble is that every time (on all of mine) that you plug in a network cable or set up wifi, the video output cuts out and you get no signal from the box. Like I said, I gave up.
Yes I think i had that too, fix was from memory to edit the host file on the ATV2 so it couldnt contact Apple and then installing packages in a certain order. Something like that anyway. It did take quite a bit of effort to sort

can someone upload cfw with 4.1 (iOS 4.2.1 - 8C150) for me, it doesent matter what shsh blobs are used. Thank you.
