Buttons not displaying full name of parts or versions

I have several movies with multiple parts or versions. Some of them do not display the full name on screen in Apple TV. For example, Ben-Hur correctly shows Part 1 on one button but then it shows Part… on the other button instead of the expected Part 2. I have followed the naming guidelines. I have tried refreshing meta data but nothing changes. Is there anything I should do different?

The files are named:
Ben-Hur (1959) part1.mkv
Ben-Hur (1959) part2.mkv

I have Apple TV a1625 (4th generation). I am connecting to Mac Mini M1 using SMB.

Just a random guess but try using 1959 instead of (1959) for the year.

Removing the parentheses did not change it. I have several other movies misbehaving also. This was just an example.

Try this:

Ben-Hur (1959) {edition-Part 1}.mkv
Ben-Hur (1959) {edition-Part 2}.mkv

Although I would recommend using Mkvtoolnix or equivalent to merge together the two files into a single one.

That did not fix it. I may have even tried that before also. I actually want that movie to remain in 2 parts since it is three and a half hours long. I have several other movies with custom tags that aren’t showing right although the button actions work. I’m beginning to think it is a glitch unique to me.
