at the moment bugs are only tagged as pending, users don’t know when these bugs will be fixed or sometimes even not acknowledged. I think it will be beneficial if infuse has a list of bugs fixed upcoming list. This can allow users to track the process of bugs and allow Firecore team to work more efficiently to fix bugs
The list can be like below
Bugs will be fixed in V8.0.1
-Skipping forward does not work while endless watching
-Subtitle position pushed up when multiple lines are displayed in quick succession
-xxxxxx
-xxxxxx Bugs will be fixed in 2024
-Skip forward does not respond
-Subtitle not being bold
-A lag when skip backward on large 4k video
it will be great if Firecore team can do this list
It only tells u what bugs will be fixed in the upcoming version
It doesn’t tell u that when the bugs tagged as pending will be fixed
And when those bugs that are not fixed in the upcoming version will be fixed
The devs don’t extend out past this time currently shown in this thread so they can avoid constantly changing anticipated dates out past what is being worked on.
That is also why they have different tags such as pending, wishlist, in progress, etc. That tells you where the items are in the development process.
Even if the development team doesn’t plan ahead this far. It is still helpful for the development team and users to have the bugs fixed upcoming list. Because it can help the team to plan ahead what bugs are fixed in year 2024 and what bugs are fixed in 2025. At the moment it is not structured. Bugs tagged as pending are often forgotten and not fixed eventually. If they got a list published, users can track their reported bugs and dev team can have a target to work on
It will attract more users incentive
Generally I agree with how the team is managing bugs, features etc. However with ONE EXCEPTION, that being the lack of an alpha/numeric indicator down the far right side of the screen when scrolling through your movies. This requested fix has been present for more than 7 YEARS and still has not been worked.
