I’ve noticed that when I am watching a number of episodes from a particular season, that the season title (eg Season 3) replaces “TV” (as my TV favourites folder is named) at the navigation level, when going “back” to get to the main AppleTV screen. Is this supposed to happen? Its only temporary, and doesnt persist beyond that point (that is, you can still access other TV series, and once you leave that screen and go back in, the title changes back to TV (or whatever it is named in anyone else’s case). The same thing happens with Movies… I have mine in subfolders (eg adventure, sci-fi and so on) and the name of that folder replaces the main folder title in the top nav bar favourites.
No, its only on the screen where you have (if you have made the choice) to have favourites (in my case, Movies and TV). The others don’t have this, and the favourites defined elsewhere retain their proper titles.
So, across the top of the screen (before going into TV) it looks like
Movies | TV | Library | Search | MyFiles | Settings.
After going in and watching a TV show or two, when I finish and back out of the season and the show as well, it changes to read the season number: so, currently I am watching DS9 Season 4 and it looks like this…
Movies | Season 4 | Library | Search | MyFiles | Settings.
It doesn’t persist past this point, and if I want to access another show, the listing of shows remains to choose from. It goes away once I do that, to be replaces by the new Season of whichever show. If I choose a movie, it does that: I have put all my movies in folders according to my own filing system, its only when using the folders rather than the Library (I really must get on with renaming things properly so Library has everything listed appropriately)… so a screen after I watch a movie and back out of that might look like
