Bug fix - delete episode from app home page

If you try to delete an episode of a show from the app’s home page, I get a “delete related file” screen immediately afterwards.

That screen cannot go away, it overlays the interface, but I can’t navigate it. The only way to fix it is to restart the app or the Apple TV.

I’ve had this exact problem for a few months. At least through a couple of software updates that I was hoping would fix it. It happens 100% of the time I delete a video file with a corresponding subtitle file. I always get around it by killing the app and starting it again.

I would add that if you try to interact with the “delete related file” overlay you can see the background reacting instead of the overlay.
